As most of you know, my husband is an avid Destin Photographer. He has been a photographer for most of his life, but it has only been his career for the last six years.
His skills as a digital photographer and videographer have evolved greatly over the years, but his latest project has been working on his ability to high dynamic range images. I love how these look and cannot wait to see how he uses this is his vacation rental portfolio and beach photography!
The colors are so rich and instead of seeing a glare, you can actually see the reflection of the surroundings on this antique Cadillac. He took this photo at the 2012 Fort Walton Beach Auto Show.
Since Joe started working on high dynamic range we have noticed that we see it everywhere! It is a growing trend not only in photography, but also showing up in television commercials and amateur videos. I think one of the challenges of utilizing HDR images on a website is that you would have to really pick and choose where you use these type of images. If you just randomly place them, you would make your regular images (not matter how high the quality) – look awful and/or the HDR images would look out of place.
